🩺 Quick Troubleshooting
Run through these checks before assuming there’s a major fault.
No Sound or Stereo Not Responding
- Confirm the stereo is powered ON and not muted.
- Check volume is turned up on the active zone and any connected device (phone, tablet, etc.).
- If the front panel is frozen, press and hold the Power button until the unit turns off, then power it back on.
- If problems persist, switch the stereo off at the master power or pull the fuse for about 2 minutes, then reconnect.
Bluetooth Drop-outs or Poor Range
- Keep your phone within 10 m and avoid storing it in metal cupboards or behind heavy structure.
- Turn off DISCOVERABLE once paired – this helps reduce background Bluetooth chatter.
- Try another device to confirm whether the issue is with the phone or the stereo.
Radio / DAB Reception Issues
- Check that the antenna is connected securely and not damaged.
- Confirm the tuner region is correctly set for your location.
- In marginal areas, reception will naturally be weaker – try moving the camper or extending / re-positioning the antenna.
🛠️ Preventative Maintenance Tips
A few simple habits will keep your Fusion system sounding great for years.
Clean the Screen & Panel
Wipe the front panel with a soft damp cloth only – no solvents or harsh cleaners. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the stereo.
Look After Speakers & Sub
Avoid running the system at maximum volume for long periods. If you hear distortion, back the volume off slightly and check your bass / subwoofer settings.
Use Fusion-Link Apps
Install the Fusion-Link app on your phone or compatible Garmin watch to control volume, sources and zones – and to update stereo software when new versions are released.
