Who Tour With Them
Your Renegade 12 is built by the same team, in the same workshop, and backed by the same after-sales service as every Rhinomax on the road. There are now over 1,000 Rhinomax owners touring Australia. Here’s what they say about how they’re looked after.
“After spending 11 months travelling half of Australia, Max — our Defender — needed a good service… I absolutely love that the team care so much for our van. Nothing is too much trouble, and I’m pretty damn fussy. The after-sales service is second to none.”
“We’re NSW based, so we organised it all over the phone and online… We recently travelled to Queensland to pick up our Defender hybrid, and the quality build is outstanding — right down to the handover. The van towed like a dream on the 1,077km trip home.”
“From the moment we made our first phone call to the day we picked our Defender up, the service and patience was second to none… You hear a lot of complaints about after-sales service from well-known brands, but with Rhinomax it was exceptional.”

Good To Know
LTR 19 Questions, Answered
The things serious buyers ask before ordering. Straight answers, no run-around.
How is the LTR 19 different from the Lost Trak 18.5?
They are built for two different trips. The Lost Trak 18.5 is the expedition model: narrower body, hybrid proportions, specced for people whose priority is where they can get to. The LTR 19 is 2,350mm wide and puts that extra room into living space.
Three things you get here and nowhere else in the range: a walk-around island bed you can get in and out of from either side, a shower and toilet that are fully separated rather than sharing one cubicle, and a large internal kitchen with an L-shape lounge alongside it.
The honest way to choose between them is to ask what you will resent more. If it is a tight track you had to turn around on, take the 18.5. If it is climbing over your partner at 2am for six months of the year, take the LTR 19.
What tow vehicle do I need for an LTR 19?
With a 3,500kg ATM you need a 4WD rated to tow the full 3,500kg. A 200/300 Series LandCruiser, Patrol, Ram, F-150 or similar. Plenty of popular dual-cab utes carry a 3,500kg figure on paper but run out of GCM long before you reach it.
The 265kg ball weight matters just as much, and it is worth checking carefully because a towbar rated to 200kg or less will not do, and a good number of factory bars are. Check your vehicle's braked towing capacity, ball load limit, GVM and GCM together before ordering. Our team will go through your exact setup with you, and we would rather have that conversation now than after your build starts.
Is it still off-road capable at 19ft and 2,350mm wide?
Yes, and it is worth being precise about what that means. Underneath, it is the same engineering as the rest of the off-road range: a hot-dip galvanised Rhinomax performance chassis, Cruisemaster XT 3,500kg airbag suspension with ride height adjustment and load levelling, a Cruisemaster DO35 off-road coupling, 12 inch electric drum brakes and 17 inch alloys on 265/70 R17 all terrains.
What changes is size, and we will not pretend otherwise. At 2,350mm wide and 8.07m overall, this asks more of you on a tight track than a Lost Trak 16 does. More room to turn, more room to reverse, more thought about overhanging scrub.
What it is not is a full-width caravan. At 150mm narrower than a standard 2,500mm van it keeps a lower frontal area, better manoeuvrability and the ability to follow formed roads and station tracks that stop a conventional tourer at the gate. That balance is the whole point of the model: caravan room, without giving up where you can take it.
Why 440Ah when the Lost Trak 18.5 comes with 660Ah?
Because we would rather you chose it than inherit it. 440Ah of lithium, 1,000W of roof solar and a Victron 3000VA MultiPlus is a genuine off-grid package for the way most owners tour, and it keeps the entry price and the tare weight where they should be.
Every upgrade above it is available in the builder, so if you free camp for weeks at a time you can spec the battery bank up. What we will not do is force that capacity, and its cost and weight, onto every buyer who does not need it.
How long does a build take?
Please contact our sales team for current lead and build times on the LTR 19. Every one is hand-built to order at our Sunshine Coast workshop, and your specialist keeps you updated throughout the build.
What warranty comes with an LTR 19?
Every LTR 19 is covered by our 5-year structural warranty, with appliances covered by their manufacturers' warranties. Rhinomax facilitates warranty claims with third-party suppliers on your behalf, so after handover you keep dealing directly with the team that built your caravan. No call centres, no service tickets.
Is finance available?
Rhinomax doesn't offer finance options in house, however we can recommend a number of reputable finance companies if needed.
I'm interstate. Can I still buy one?
Absolutely. Plenty of owners spec and order remotely. You'll work with a dedicated specialist over phone and video for every decision, and you can view the LTR 19 at our Sunshine Coast HQ or through our NSW dealer, Off Grid Outfitters, in Smeaton Grange and Newcastle.
Collect from our Queensland workshop with full handover instruction, or ask us about delivery options.
Do I need an appointment to view one?
Yes. Viewings are by appointment so a specialist is dedicated to you for the entire visit, whether that's at our Queensland HQ, our NSW dealer, or a private virtual walkthrough. Booking online takes under a minute.
