⚙️ Basic Operation (Rhinomax Edition)
The RA770 is a premium, multi-zone, marine-grade stereo designed for harsh environments and simple use in your camper.
Main Controls
The RA770 uses a combination of touch-screen and soft-touch buttons:
- Power: Hold the standby/power button.
- Volume: Adjust by zone or master volume.
- Source Selection: Choose from Bluetooth, USB, Radio, AUX, PartyBus™, or Wi-Fi sources.
- Home button: Returns to main menu at any time.
Rhinomax installs speakers and zones pre-configured for easy use.
Bluetooth Pairing
To pair a new phone or device:
- Tap Bluetooth on the home screen.
- Select Pair New Device.
- Choose Apollo RA770 on your phone.
- Confirm the pairing request.
Tip: If the old device autoconnects, remove it from the Bluetooth list first.
Multi-Zone Audio
The Vantage Edition uses multiple audio zones:
- Zone 1 — Internal cabin speakers
- Zone 2 — External kitchen speakers
- Zone 3/4 — Optional sub or additional speakers
Adjust volume, tone, balance and limiters for each zone individually.
Power Behaviour
The RA770 is integrated with your 12V power system:
- Turns off when 12V master switch is off.
- Retains all settings when powered back up.
- High-power amplifier mode available depending on configuration.
If the unit loses presets or resets often, battery voltage may be low.
🎚 Audio Settings & Zone Management
Optimise sound across your camper’s interior and exterior zones.
Zone Controls
Each zone can be independently controlled:
- Volume (normal listening)
- Tone (bass/treble)
- Balance (left/right)
- Sub level if equipped
Zone isolation prevents disturbing other areas of the camper.
PartyBus™ Multi-Zone Link
The RA770 supports Fusion’s PartyBus network:
- Share audio to compatible devices.
- Play different sources in different zones.
- Sync volume across devices.
Most Rhinomax builds use the RA770 as a standalone unit, but PartyBus is enabled.
Source Options
Supported audio sources include:
- Bluetooth
- AM/FM Radio
- USB Music
- AUX input
- Wi-Fi / AirPlay 2
Apple AirPlay 2 allows multi-speaker streaming with compatible devices.
Troubleshooting Audio Issues
If a zone is silent:
- Check volume limiters.
- Confirm source is active.
- Ensure balance isn't fully left/right.
- Verify Bluetooth device is playing.
External kitchen zone may mute if master volume is set low.

🛠️ Preventative Maintenance – RA770
Simple steps to keep your audio system performing at its best.
Speaker Care
Inspect marine speakers occasionally for dust, spider webs or sand. Avoid high-pressure water around speaker cones.
Connections & Wiring
Ensure terminals, fuses and connectors remain tight and dry. If sound drops out intermittently, have wiring inspected.
Software & App Updates
Use the Fusion-Link or Garmin app to update firmware. Updates improve Bluetooth stability and audio quality.
