Rhinomax Herritage
Founded in 2012 by Steve Punton (center) and Andy Dean (right), Rhinomax Campers was born from a shared vision: to build Australia’s finest off-road adventure campers – engineered for the toughest conditions, without compromising on comfort, quality, or design.
Andy Dean, a former Rolls-Royce lead engineer with a background in aerospace and critical infrastructure, brings world-class engineering expertise to every Rhinomax build. Together with Steve Punton, a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of building successful ventures, they created a company grounded in craftsmanship, innovation, and old-fashioned customer service.
From the outset, Rhinomax set out to redefine what a premium off-road camper could be. Each model is designed and manufactured on the Sunshine Coast using advanced materials, aerospace-level engineering, and an uncompromising attention to detail. The result: a bespoke range of lightweight hybrids and expedition caravans that offer unrivalled durability, refined comfort, and the freedom to explore Australia’s most remote landscapes with absolute confidence.
