A comprehensive 240V power system is standard, providing off-grid power through the on-board inverter or through mains connection at powered campsites or with a generator. Power Storage
Lithium Power
Rhinomax Campers feature high-performance lithium power systems, one of the most efficient methods of power storage,
All campers are fitted with Enerdrive high-performance lithium batteries, known for their lightweight, high-capacity, fast charging, and long lifespan.
Providing reliable off-grid power, we offer various high-capacity options to meet different power usage needs, including systems capable of running induction cooktops, microwaves, and air conditioners.
Power Output
Inverter Power
Rhinomax Campers are equipped with 12V/240V power, with most appliances like LED lighting, fans, fridges, monitoring systems, and pumps running on 12V.
For 240V appliances like air conditioners, microwaves, induction cooktops and laptops an inverter is fitted as standard with sizes/output scalable to suit your needs.
Utilising heavy-duty high-powered inverters our larger systems can handle high-wattage appliances, like air conditioners and washing machines.
Our campers also have 12V/240V outlets conveniently located internally and externally, with options for additional outlets and Anderson-style plugs to power accessories like motorised jockey wheels.
Recharging Power
Mains power/Generator
When connected to mains power through the campers 15Ah power inlet, charging is done via the 40Ah AC smart charger or on models with larger capacity power systems the 120Ah AC multi-stage fast charger. A generator can also be used to provide a valuable back up charging source during a period of overcast or inclement weather.
Solar power
The Rhinomax hybrid range features robust monocrystalline solar panels, ideal for Australia’s tough conditions. A roof-mounted solar array comes standard on every camper along with the option to expand capacity by adding portable panels via the campers remote connection points. A great way to harness the suns power and charge your batteries for free.
Tow vehicle
All Rhinomax Campers feature fast charging lithium batteries plus powerful 40Ah DC-to-DC charging units, enabling battery charging from the tow vehicle’s engine during travel, day or night.
No matter whether the sun is not shining or when parked with low power, simply starting the engine will initiate charging.
Control & Monitoring
Rhinomax Command centre
Rhinomax Campers’ advanced digital switching system offers full control and monitoring of on-board features like battery status, power consumption, solar charge, water storage, and lighting. Utilizing digital switching technology, all electrical circuits can be easily controlled via the on-board digital screen, your smartphone, or traditional switches. The system combines reliability, simplicity, and full automation capabilities for an optimal user experience.

Water System
Rhinomax Campers are all equipped with a versatile water system for comfortable off-grid camping. Our water system features large storage tanks, mains connection, an energy-efficient hot water service, water-saving shower head/mixer taps, and the ability to harvest external water sources, extending your time off the grid.
Water storage
Balancing water storage and weight is crucial as each litre of water equals 1kg. In order to reduce the need for carrying excess water/weight Rhinomax uses smaller, baffled tanks (85L-125L) instead of single (200L-300L) tanks which provide better stability during travel and separate plumbing for individual filling options for each tank. Fill one tank for a weekend trip or all of them for longer stays where water is scarce.
Mains connection
All our hybrids feature mains water connection through a dedicated water pressure regulator. Simply connect a hose, turn on the tap, and the regulator will reduce mains water pressure to a safe level for the campers onboard plumbing. Enjoy hassle-free access to mains water at caravan parks & campsites.
External water harvesting
Extend your off-grid stays with an in-built external water draw feature allowing you to harvest water from sources like rivers, creeks, jerry cans, or buckets. Simply connect your hose to the camper’s creek draw connection point, turn on the pump, and enjoy clean water at your sink and shower outlets without tank contamination. Filtration options, like inline filters are available to remove any suspended solids and sediments.
Enjoy hot water wherever you go
Rhinomax Campers are equipped with highly efficient hot water systems – Truma Ultra Rapid (gas) or Webasto (diesel) – for 24/7 hot water access with low energy consumption. These industry-leading heaters are built to handle harsh Australian conditions.
Water saving outlets
Rhinomax Campers are equipped with durable chrome-plated brass sink mixer taps and efficient shower heads. The sink taps have a water-saving nozzle and 360-degree rotating spout for easy filling of water bottles & kettles. The shower system includes a quality mixer tap base unit and a shower head with power shower and trickle water flow options and an on/off button for water control enabling you to adjust your water consumption to suit your needs.
